RETRO NITE MOVIES THIS FRIDAY February 23rd – Labryinth (PG) and The Big Lebowski (R)

By popular demand – RETRO NITE at the movies! Share this post and tell your friends that the ‘classics’ are on the big screen this week!

This Friday 2/23 at the movies…

6 PM – Labryinth (PG – 101 mins)

Teenage Sarah (Jennifer Connelly) journeys through a maze to recover her baby brother (Toby Froud) from a goblin king (David Bowie). This classic is from the makers of The Muppets and Star Wars – with David Bowie added as a bonus!

8 PM – The Big Lebowski (R – 119 minutes)

Jeff Bridges plays Jeff Lebowski who insists on being called “the Dude,” a laid-back, easygoing burnout who happens to have the same name as a millionaire whose wife owes a lot of dangerous people a whole bunch of money — resulting in the Dude having his rug soiled, sending him spiraling into the Los Angeles underworld.

We need 6-7 volunteers each week to help with the door and cleanup after the movies. This is a 20-60 minute commitment, and can be a lot of fun – (you get to hang out with us!!!) Please consider volunteering a small part of your Friday evening to keep this series going!
Admission is $2 for each movie
Doors open at 5:30
Movies are shown at the UAF – Seward Marine Center on 3rd Ave at Railway.
Concessions provided by the Seward Prevention Coalition.
Concessions sold this week will benefit the Resurrection Bay Conservation Alliance

Contact us at if you have questions! See you at the movies!
