SPECIAL MOVIES THIS FRIDAY February 16th – Wonder / Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri

We are REALLY EXCITED for two GREAT MOVIES this week! A Heartwarming SPECIAL FEATURE offered FREE thanks to the Seward Community Foundation and a Pre-DVD Oscar Nominee that tells an important story!

This Friday 2/16 at the movies…

6 PM – Wonder (PG – 80 minutes)

Based on the New York Times bestseller, WONDER tells the incredibly inspiring and heartwarming story of August Pullman, a boy with facial differences who enters fifth grade, attending a mainstream elementary school for the first time.
Thanks to the Seward Community Foundation and Ms. Beck’s Fifth Grade Seward Elementary School Class, this movie is FREE ADMISSION for the first 100!!!

8 PM – Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri (R – 115 minutes)

After months have passed without a culprit in her daughter’s murder case, Mildred Hayes makes a bold move, painting three signs leading into her town with a controversial message directed at William Willoughby, the town’s revered chief of police. When his second-in-command, Officer Dixon — an immature mother’s boy with a penchant for violence — gets involved, the battle is only exacerbated.

We need 6-7 volunteers each week to help with the door and cleanup after the movies. This is a 20-60 minute commitment, and can be a lot of fun – (you get to hang out with us!!!) Please consider volunteering a small part of your Friday evening to keep this series going!
Admission is $2 for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri and FREE for the first 100 into Wonder!
Doors open at 5:30
Movies are shown at the UAF – Seward Marine Center on 3rd Ave at Railway.
Concessions provided by the Seward Prevention Coalition.
Concessions sold this week will benefit Seward High School Booster Club
