Movie Series LAST WEEK!!! Spaceballs / Star Wars: The Last Jedi THIS FRIDAY March 30th!

It’s been a great winter – but the sun shines late into the evening and this week is our final week! 44 movies and 2000+ smiling faces later – Thanks for sharing your Friday nights with us and please share a standing ovation for our Non-Profit Partners, local business sponsors, and dedicated volunteers who make this whole thing happen!!! Come out this Friday for a great theme night – we promise not to laugh if you come in costume – and if you’re dressed up maybe we’ll let you in for free!

This Friday 3/30 at the movies…

6 PM – Spaceballs (PG-13 – 96 mins)

In a distant galaxy, planet Spaceball has depleted its air supply, leaving its citizens reliant on a product called “Perri-Air.” In desperation, Spaceball’s leader President Skroob (Mel Brooks) orders the evil Dark Helmet (Rick Moranis) to kidnap Princess Vespa (Daphne Zuniga) of oxygen-rich Druidia and hold her hostage in exchange for air. But help arrives for the Princess in the form of renegade space pilot Lone Starr (Bill Pullman) and his half-man, half-dog partner, Barf (John Candy). (COME CELEBRATE THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF THIS CLASSIC!)

8:30 PM – Star Wars: The Last Jedi (PG-13 – 152 minutes)

Luke Skywalker’s peaceful and solitary existence gets upended when he encounters Rey, a young woman who shows strong signs of the Force. Her desire to learn the ways of the Jedi forces Luke to make a decision that changes their lives forever. Meanwhile, Kylo Ren and General Hux lead the First Order in an all-out assault against Leia and the Resistance for supremacy of the galaxy.

We need 6-7 volunteers each week to help with the door and cleanup after the movies. This is a 20-60 minute commitment, and can be a lot of fun – (you get to hang out with us!!!) Please consider volunteering a small part of your Friday evening to keep this series going!
